Toyo-C Awarded Ethanolamine Plant Contract by HPCSep. 9, 2010 Toyo Engineering Corporation(China)

Toyo Engineering Corporation, China (Toyo-China, President, Kiyoshi Nakao), has been awarded a contract for an ethanolamine (ETA) production plant to be constructed in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China, by Honam Petrochemical Corporation (HPC), Korea, a top glycol and polypropylene manufacturer. The plant is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2012.

Initially, HPC conducted its own project feasibility study aimed at the continuously expanding Chinese market. Following a bidding process which also evaluated Chinese and Korean competitors, Toyo-China won the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the 50,000 t/y ETA plant.

TOYO will now submit proposals in line with the client’s requirements and proceed to optimal implementation based on Global Toyo’s advanced network.
