Shell Quest Carbon Capture and Storage ProjectNov. 6, 2015 Toyo Engineering Corporation(China)

Toyo Engineering Canada Ltd. is proud to announce that representatives from the company attended the official opening of the Shell Quest Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Project on November 6, 2015.

The Shell Quest CCS Project is designed to capture and safely store more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) each year – equal to emissions from about 250,000 cars. Toyo provided Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, regulatory, and construction support for the pipeline portion of the project, which consisted of a 65-kilometer buried pipeline responsible for transporting the CO2 and ultimately injecting it more than two kilometers underground below multiple layers of impermeable rock formations.
