Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO Yutaka Yamada) was awarded an Energy Optimization Project for one of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) existing ammonia plant and package boilers at Al-Jubail Fertilizer Company (Al-Bayroni) in the eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The plant has a capacity of producing 1,300 MT per day ammonia.
The plant is in operation since 1983. TOYO will use its vast experience and capabilities to reduce and optimize the energy consumption in similar ammonia plants and package boilers. The project implementation is scheduled to be completed in 2Q 2013. TOYO’s scope of work includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning assistance on a lump sum turnkey basis.
