Toyo Engineering India Private Limited (“Toyo-India”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan, has secured a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract from M11 Energy Transition Private Limited for its Hydro-processed Esters and Fatty Acids (HEFA)-based Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Mangalore, Karnataka.
The scope of work includes development of the engineering and design basis required to advance the project towards detailed engineering and execution. The proposed facility will utilise Topsoe’s proven HydroFlex™ HEFA technology to produce SAF from renewable feedstocks.
This award highlights Toyo-India’s expertise in energy-transition and sustainable-fuel projects, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the decarbonisation of India’s aviation sector and the country’s low-carbon growth ambitions.
